Lost My love

I was thinking about you,
Thinking about me,
Thinking about us,
But silly me,
I thought I could make you fall in love,
Now I had enough.
I wish I didn’t need you this much.
I guess my love wasn’t enough.
When I look out my window,
I can see the sunshine.
Up in my bedroom,
I can’t seem to stop crying.
I could travel back down the road
Will you come back?
No one knows.
I don’t want to be your hostage any more.
I don’t want you to be in my daydream any more.
My friends tell me that
I got to keep moving on,
I know that they are right,
But why does it feel so wrong.
I hate goodbyes.
I hate these tears in my eyes.
I have to move on.
I have to be strong.
Loving you was so wrong.
I have nothing else to say.
Oh god! Never again make me fall in love.
That’s all I pray.
